Perimenopause
Perimenopause is the initial phase of the menopause transition. It is a gradual process, characterised by increasingly irregular and infrequent menstruations without reaching full menopause.
During this period, it is common for women to experience mild versions of classic menopause symptoms. It typically begins sometime in your 40s and lasts between 3 to 5 years.
